Every driver hates being stuck in a traffic jam. You lose a lot of time waiting for your journey to continue, time that could be put to good use. According to a study, drivers need about a third more time to cross Zurich due to traffic jams than when traffic is calm. The figures are similar in other cities.

In Aegerten (BE) we were allowed to install ground sensors for Lidl Switzerland for traffic counting of the parking area. The data is sent to the municipality of Aegerten and is used for traffic monitoring.

In Winterthur, we had the opportunity to upgrade the analog parking guidance system (PLS) to the digital TAPS PLS and equip it with new displays. The city of Winterthur now has one of the most modern PLS communication systems in Switzerland. We would like to thank the city of Winterthur for their trust.
