Installation and application of the TAPS sensors
The installation of the TAPS sensors took place in mid-May 2022 and serves to monitor the parking area of the company premises of Hectronic GmbH. Our TAPS software was also integrated for this purpose, from which analyses and evaluations can be taken in real time. It is interesting to know how long on average a vehicle spends in a parking space. This newly generated data can provide important insights such as the real-time utilisation of the parking area. In this way, Hectronic gets to know the behaviour of employees and potential customers better and can thus optimise processes and increase cost efficiency.
Hectronic now has the possibility to define various parameters in the TAPS system using the parking rule function. It is possible to define on which days of the week, how long a vehicle may stand in the respective parking spaces. If these parameters are exceeded, a responsible person receives a push notification from the system in real time. In this way, parking violators can be detected and, in a further step, any parking fines can be issued efficiently. In addition to the many advantages of the TAPS software, the hardware also gives the operator reason to rejoice. Thanks to the completely energy-autonomous solution, without a battery, Hectronic GmbH does not have to worry about the power supply, nor about a system stop due to a lack of energy source. The sensors were installed in an uncomplicated, efficient procedure.
