Fostering carpooling with the help of IoT

Every day, billions of people come into contact with technologies from Bühler AG to meet their basic needs for food and mobility. Their technologies are in smartphones, solar panels, nappies, lipstick and banknotes. They are found in the food you eat and the vehicles you drive. Improvements in the area of emissions reduction are targeted both in manufacturing and in the awareness of their employees. 

Bühler AG is always interested in doing something for the planet Earth. As part of a mobility project, as many employees as possible were to be motivated to use public transportation or carpool for their commute to work. In order to enable the measurability of the measures in the area of carpooling, sensor technologies from LTS AG are used.
